Pita & Flatbread Sheeting Lines

Continuous sheeting and forming for pita and other flatbreads — uniform sheets, consistent shapes, high-volume output.

Overview

Our pita and flatbread sheeting lines deliver uniform dough sheets and consistently shaped products at high volume. Using continuous sheeting with adjustable roller gaps, the line handles a wide range of dough types and produces pita, lavash, naan, roti, chapati and similar flatbreads to your exact size and thickness.

For Middle Eastern and Arabic breads, the line can be equipped with a high-temperature tunnel oven capable of reaching up to 550 °C, with the short baking times these products require.

What You Can Produce

How the Line Works

  1. Mixing & dosing — precise dosing of flour, water and ingredients.
  2. Dividing — dough is divided into uniform pieces.
  3. Forming & sheeting — multi-roller forming produces uniform sheets.
  4. Pre-proofing / band proofing — controlled proofing for structure.
  5. Baking — high-temperature tunnel oven for authentic pocket and colour.
  6. Cooling — cooling conveyor stabilises the product.
  7. Stacking & packaging — counting, stacking and packaging to your requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which flatbreads can be produced? Pita, lavash, naan, roti, chapati, wraps and similar products — round or rectangular, to your size and thickness.

What oven temperature is needed for pita? Authentic pita requires a high-temperature tunnel oven, up to 550 °C, with the short baking time that creates the pocket.

Can the line handle different shapes? Yes — changing moulds allows different diameters, widths and shapes, including round and rectangular.

Is the line suitable for high-volume production? Yes — the line scales up to industrial output and can be run with multi-row forming for higher capacity.
